I'm happy to say that I finally finished my 2016 Project Life album this past weekend and it is now proudly sitting on my bookshelf with my other completed albums. I find that there are always ebbs and flows with regards to my motivation when working on PL (which is one of the reasons why it took me so long to finish 2016), but I find it so rewarding to have an album full of the year's memories as the end result :) It's always a blast looking back at what happened in the past year.
Today I thought it would be fun to share one of the final spreads in my album which documents the last adventure of the year - a family trip to Arizona. We spent a week driving around the state and saw so many beautiful sights that completely blew me away. It was this trip that inspired the Arizona digitals in my store, though I wish I had the chance to use my new Drive set as well (I finished this double page spread before I had designed the Drive cards - c'est la vie!). Here are my spreads:
In a Creative Bubble products: Arizona cards (state card, adventuring card), Explorer cards no.1 (pink map card), Explorer cards no.3 (go see do card), Explorer elements, Arizona digital stamps
I added a digital stamp to my Grand Canyon photo before printing it out and I like the effect of the vellum arrow sticker pointing downwards.
In a Creative Bubble products: Explorer cards no.3 (yellow card), Explorer cards no.1 (green en route card, seeker of adventure card), Explorer elements, Drive digital stamps
I love the crispness of the road trip digital stamp (in white) right on top of the photo!
Other products used:
- Ali Edwards Go stamp
- Christine Herrin All Aboard stamp
- Studio Calico embellishments (past kits)
- Washi tape + stationery from my stash
Hooray for finished projects! I have one last spread I want to share from my 2016 album and then I'm moving on to my next project :) Thanks for visiting! xo.
